Learning path › Module 3 · Use AI with sound judgement

Lesson 10 of 10 · 7-minute read

Your personal AI system

Bring your best prompts, routines and rules together into a method that saves you time every day.

Goal

Build a lasting AI routine suited to your work.

You now have the foundations. Turning occasional experiments into useful practice depends on habit. Small, regular steps help you learn what works.

1. Your prompt library

Create a “My prompts” note on your phone. When an instruction works well, save it with placeholders. Over time, you will build templates for recurring tasks.

2. Your context profile

Write a short introduction covering your role, non-sensitive organisational context, country, audiences and preferred tone. Reuse it for relevant conversations or custom instructions, where available.

Here is my context: [role], based in [city/country], working with [audiences]. I write in [plain/formal] English and prefer [short/detailed] responses with concrete African examples. State uncertainty clearly and do not invent facts.

3. Your daily routine

  • Morning : “Here are today's tasks. Help me prioritise.”
  • During the day : work on a difficult message, a summary or an idea to challenge.
  • Evening : “Here is what I did today. What could I improve or simplify tomorrow?”

4. Your working rules

  • I check facts before sharing them.
  • I keep sensitive information out of unapproved tools.
  • I review and take responsibility for what I publish.
  • I disclose AI-generated content when it matters to my audience and when required by policy.

5. Keep learning

Tools change; sound habits endure. Listen to Mini Dose d'IA, try a useful new application each week and discuss what you learn with a colleague.

Today's challenge

Create your “My prompts” note today with three templates from this course and a context profile. You have completed the learning path: share it with someone who could benefit.
